Dal Cheeni is a new-age Mughlai restaurant redefining traditional cuisine with a modern twist. To match its fresh take on classics like Butter Chicken, we crafted an identity that reimagines the old-world charm of Mughlai culture through a contemporary lens.

At its core was The Daana — a single grain of cinnamon symbolising attention to detail. A spice-toned palette, modern typefaces with Devanagari variations, and a graphic system inspired by pared-back Mughal motifs and Jaalis helped create a brand that feels rooted yet refined — much like Dal Cheeni’s food philosophy itself.
